Come join us on Fridays for a fun family atmosphere Auction. Anyone is welcome to sell or buy any Farm, Pet Store animal, or animal/farm related merchandise.

With OVER 60,000sq ft. under our Barn roof we're not just a local "chicken oriented" sale but a long time approved equipped facility that handles a full range of farm animals. We sell goats, sheep, pet store animals, cattle/calves, horses, mules, donkeys, pigs and even more exotic animals such as emus, snakes and lizards, just to name a few.

If it moos, neighs, clucks, chirps, bleats, hisses or brays, we'll sell it. If it has scales, hair, hooves, feathers, fur, we'll sell it. If it walks, flies, hops or slithers, we'll sell it. Just about the only exceptions are we won't sell your dogs, cats or kids, no matter how cute they are (now if you want to sell your spouse, come talk to us and we might consider it.)

You never know what will "come down the line" on one of our Friday nights!

First time buyers/sellers: you will need to check in at the office for an auction number. Your Auction number is used to buy with as well as sell with and is your permanent number. We have large order buyers as well as local farm buyers for livestock at every sale.

Check in time is from 3:00 PM until 6:50 PM on Fridays, rain or shine (excluding major holiday weekends. If in question, please call..) Auctions start at 7:00 PM.

ALL ANIMALS HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES WITHIN 2 HOURS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. 

Order in which items are auctioned are:
  • Trailers, farm equipment, other "non-animal" items.
  • Cattle/calves.
  • Horses, donkeys, mules.
  • Pigs and any other larger/un-caged alternate livestock/exotics such as emus, ostriches and the like.
  • Goats and sheep.
  • Chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese and other small caged or crated animals/birds.
ALL small caged animals must be sold WITH the cage or wooden crate they are brought to the auction in. We are NOT allowed to sell anything in cardboard boxes or cardboard cages. Small animals that we sell include but not limited to: Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Quail, Pheasants, Guineas Fowl, Turkeys, Doves, Peacocks, Rabbits, Tropical Birds (Parakeets, Finches, Cockatiels, Parrots, Love Birds, etc.) Guinea Pigs, Pigeons, cages, feeders, tack. We do have a limited number of wooden crates available at a nominal cost.

When there are multiple animals being sold as a lot, such as a crate with 3 chickens, the auctioneer will take bids on a "cost per head" basis. This means that if the winning bid is $5, then the total price for the crate would be $5x3 or $15 total.

Note: Livestock can not be loaded until after all the goats/sheep are auctioned. There is also a brief break in the auctions after the goats/sheep while we setup for the caged animals. This is a good time to stroll on over to the Stockyard Grill and grab a bite to eat.
